"My work is It's inspired by animals, plants , sky and cloud Old paintings, picture books, music such as punk and hip-hop, and graffiti have  been a big influence. I am amazed, I laugh and am moved by the pictures I draw I would be happy if people could smile when they look at my paintings. My works are primarily painted with acrylic paints on canvas."

 

Born in Niigata, Japan in 1980 and raised in Osaka.  

Began self-directed painting after dropping out of college.  

He has participated in GEISAI, organized by Takashi Murakami, since its inception.  Received the Katsuhiko Hibino Award in 2002 and 2003.  

Received the Keiichi Sokabe Award in 2005.  

Also in 2005 his work was featured in a special issue of Brutus magazine titled "The Art  that Takashi Murakami Bought."  

In the summer of 2020 he commenced work on his current energetic and melancholic  style, using animals and flowers as motifs.
