YUTAKA WATANABE SOLO SHOW PRESENTED BY GALLERY ASCEND

Born in Tokyo in 1981, Yutaka Watanabe completed the Master's Degree Program in painting at Musashino Art University in 2007. He has held major solo exhibitions at Tomio Koyama Gallery in 2009 and 2013, as well as Maki Fine Arts in 2017 and 2018, among others. Notable group exhibitions include "True Colors, 4th Fuchu Biennial" (Fuchu Art Museum, Tokyo, 2008) and "Syncopation: Contemporary Encounters with the Modern Masters" (Pola Museum of Art, Kanagawa, 2019), among many others. His works can be found in the public collection of zozo, Inc.

Within the exhibition "Blue Attraction," Yutaka Watanabe delves into the transformative allure of youth and the elusive quest to surpass artistic masters. His collection of symbolic works draws inspiration from personal experiences and a tapestry of artistic mediums, conspiring to ignite alternative perspectives within the viewer's psyche. Through the luminescence of his brushstrokes, Watanabe unveils a world of cubic dimensions, inviting us to behold the multifaceted essence of captivating events.
